Detroit Guides is an independent guide to Detroit, Michigan. Every place listed here is a real, operating business we have verified — no invented listings, no pay-to-play rankings. We work neighborhood by neighborhood, from Downtown and Greektown to Midtown's galleries and restaurants, Corktown's Michigan Avenue strip, the stalls and storefronts around Eastern Market, the taquerias and bakeries of Southwest Detroit, and the shops along the Avenue of Fashion. Ratings shown from Google are labelled and attributed to Google; our own rankings are explained in plain language on every list.
